Initially, my clients contact me by email or telephone and we briefly discuss their web idea and I answer any questions they have. Occasionally I can give a ball-park figure estimate about how much they could expect to pay, but usually I encourage them to email me a brief outline. I like it also when future clients can give me the URL of other web sites they like and what they like about them - that could be the layout, the graphics, the general look, or the information that it has.
If we both feel that nzwebs.com is the right company to give my potential client what they want, I give some more thought to their needs before I write a brief web plan and quote. Websites by nzwebs.com can start at around NZ$375 + gst. After they have accepted my quote, keeping the purpose of the web site and the desired outcomes in mind, we discuss any changes to the plan.
